Bridport is a Melbourne based developer with wide ranging experience in the property sector. Diversity has always been at the heart of Bridport's ethos. We have always maintained the discipline of ensuring the portfolio is represented by residential and commercial sectors.

Our developments include apartments, townhouses, childcare, commercial and industrial projects. We assemble high quality design and project teams that share our passion for the industry and the delivery of built form outcomes.

Bridport continues to be well served by its simple philosophy, which is to foster our partnerships. This has allowed us to have successful projects and alliances with private investors, corporate entities, and government bodies.

Bridport is led by Tom Shelton. He has been in the property industry for over 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Property from RMIT. Tom started out as an agent in the CBD before working in London for three years. After some extended stints at public companies, he started Bridport in 2014.

Bridport also provides development management services to property owners and investors who don't have the time or resources to apply the necessary focus on their projects. We assist clients with:

Projects

Highett - Industrial

The Highett industrial project is part of a development spanning 7,000sqm of prime inner industrial land. Located to the west side of the Moorabbin Industrial precinct and designed by Armsby Architects, it includes two beautifully presented showrooms and 18 small format warehouses.

Highett - Medical

As part of a larger 7,000sqm industrial site Bridport acquired, this is a significant refurbishment of an industrial building. We are relocating the TPG owned national operator Animal Emergency Centre into a 1,400sqm of high end medical services building.

Kensington - Apartments

Bridport partnered with Homes Victoria to develop 34 apartments as one of the first Affordable Housing projects in this State. Located within the Kensington village, it offered one, two and three bedroom apartments with uninterrupted views of the city and northern suburbs.

Bendigo - Childcare

This is a large scale and well-crafted childcare centre within Eaglehawk, a northern suburb of Bendigo. It is designed by Ellis Group and pre-leased to national operator Eden Academy. It is set to accommodate 116 places and will set a new standard of finishes and experience in the childcare sector.

St Kilda - Townhouses

This project incorporated two high end townhouses both with DLUG and pool and a major restoration of a heritage home. The site is located just near Fitzroy St, St Kilda and at the time set record prices for townhouses in the area.

Knoxfield - Childcare

Knoxfield is a childcare centre with a difference. It includes a 900sqm natural bush zone which is exclusively used by the centre. Leased to national operator Journey Early Learning and designed by TPG Architects, it offers a stunning internal piazza with expansive rooms and high-level finishes.

Balaclava - Townhouses

These townhouses are located just off the Carlisle St precinct, which is well serviced by transport and a vibrant retail strip and café culture. Designed by Studio 35 Architects with elegant finishes of natural stones and timbers.

Ringwood - Childcare

This Ringwood childcare centre is opposite the Maroondah Private Hospital within an emerging health precinct. It is a three level building, designed by TRG Architects. It is leased to a national operator Kids Club and accommodates 120 children.

Keysborough - Townhouses

Located in the growing suburb of Keysborough, the site represented an opportunity to deliver a significant medium density project. Designed by MPS Architects to create 75 two-storey townhouses that responded to the growing appetite for alternative housing options in Keysborough and surrounds.

Kensington - Childcare

This heritage building was adapted for childcare. It was significantly refurbished and provided a natural and earthy feel by recycling various material including beautiful timber beams. The roof was partly removed to allow the elements into the play areas.

Knoxfield - Residential

This project is the result of extensive collaboration with Council and conservation groups to create a unique development with a strong environmental focus. Nine family style dwellings of mostly 4 bedrooms on large lots within a natural ecosystem of established trees.
