Permit Obtained for Ringwood East Child Care Centre
A permit has been issued for the Ringwood East project six months after the application was submitted. Great work from the planning and design teams. We expect a builder to be appointed shortly and for construction to commence early 2019.
Permit Application Submitted for Kensington Apartments
A permit application has been submitted to the Melbourne City Council for the development of 41 large format apartments including three townhouses and commercial space of ground. It is an 8 level building which will have outstanding views in all directions.
Westpac Provides Two Facilities for Bridport Projects
Bridport has recently secured senior debt facilities with Westpac for two of its current projects being a 100-place child care centre in Kensington and a 117-place child care centre in Ringwood East. Bridport is delighted to have the support of Westpac as it grows its pipeline of projects.

The permit application was submitted to the City of Knox for this project proposing ten townhouses and a 100-place child care facility for which a national operator has been secured.

A permit application for a 117-place child care centre has been submitted to the City of Maroondah. It is a three-level building of approx. 900 sqm with under croft parking. A national operator has been secured for the site.
Balaclava Project Commences Construction
Construction has commenced on the 6-townhouse development in Balaclava with completion due prior to the end of the calendar year. Three pre-sales have been secured. The site is 150m from the Carlisle St precinct.
Bridport Strikes JV with Barwon Investment Partners
A Heads of Agreement has been struck with Sydney based investment manager – Barwon Investment Partners, to complete the Ringwood East Child Care development in joint venture. Barwon Investment Partners has created a fund for the development of child centres around Australia in conjunction with developers.
Bridport Appointed as Project Manager for Knoxfield Development
Bridport is pleased to announce it has been appointed as project manager for a development in Knoxfield. The site has had a challenging planning history, but working in conjunction with the client, we believe the concept of 10 townhouses and a 100-place child care centre responds well to the planning requirements. The development has an approximate end value of $13m.

Bridport has secured a second site in Kensington on Macaulay Road for an apartment development. The site is 200m from the Kensington train station and village. It sits within the recently rezoned Arden Macaulay precinct.
